7 Stages of Growth
Stages of growth is an “enterprise growth model” which is based on a nine-year national research project with over 700 CEO’s. The study recognized companies grow in complexity and that the complexity level is created by people, not the profits or revenue. The model identifies seven stages of growth based on the number of people and introduces a concept called “The Growth Curve”. The Growth Curve is an imaginary line charting the balance between chaos and equilibrium in companies – or practices – with fewer than 500 employees. The author, James Fischer has authored a book called: Navigating the Growth Curve – 9 Fundamentals that Build a Profit-Driven, People-Centered, Growth-Smart Company.
